Welcome. I love to make stuff: Papercraft, crochet, plushies, cooking and baking.

I'll be posting my own stuff where I can and promoting other fabulous artisan crafts by fantastically talented craftspeople in between :)

Crafts I Heart is a craft blog run by Becky. This blog features all sorts of artistic endeavors including quilting, paper crafts, jewelry, DIY, sewing and amigurumi - to name a few.

On the sidebar of the blog, there are links to detailed Tags which categorises posts by color, season (Autumn/Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer), public holidays such as Christmas and Easter, and the ever-popular Valentine’s day in February.
Becky has told me that one of her favourite elements in the blog is the Craft Room series. “I highlighted studios and craft rooms alike. I love to see all the crafty goodness, along with the storage and organization solutions.” Sounds awesome, right? Well, what are you waiting for? Head over to her blog and follow….like, now!

The reason I began following PicaCraft is because I came across her awesome hand-stitched “mobs” from the video game Minecraft (pictured below). I’ve done my fair share of time in Minecraft (definitely a game worth checking out if you’ve never played it). It’s a bit like virtual Lego. Anyway…

The little lady behind PicaCraft loves to sew, cross-stitch, crochet and create other handmade gems.  Do check her blog out and follow :D

I have exciting news!

I will be selling handmade hair bows (and possibly bow ties) and other goodies at an actual market with my own actual table! The table will be called ‘Bits + Baubles’ and I will be selling/being nervous alongside my good friend Krystin (Sappy Apple) who makes jewelry and pretty treasures. I am happy that a hobby (making bows) turned into an obsession to the point that I would hunt down vintage scarves, shirts and dresses and spend hours making them as I watched entire seasons of TV shows hand sewing each one.
I am entirely grateful and still a little shocked that I was asked to sell at the new 124 Street Grand Market! The first one is May 24th, and I hope to see you there! The website isn’t up yet however there is a facebook page with more information, so search for it there!

Make a mouse cat toy.

These wouldn’t last too long around my cat. He’d rip them to shreds. Unless they were made of titanium.
