Welcome. I love to make stuff: Papercraft, crochet, plushies, cooking and baking.

I'll be posting my own stuff where I can and promoting other fabulous artisan crafts by fantastically talented craftspeople in between :)

Crafts I Heart is a craft blog run by Becky. This blog features all sorts of artistic endeavors including quilting, paper crafts, jewelry, DIY, sewing and amigurumi - to name a few.

On the sidebar of the blog, there are links to detailed Tags which categorises posts by color, season (Autumn/Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer), public holidays such as Christmas and Easter, and the ever-popular Valentine’s day in February.
Becky has told me that one of her favourite elements in the blog is the Craft Room series. “I highlighted studios and craft rooms alike. I love to see all the crafty goodness, along with the storage and organization solutions.” Sounds awesome, right? Well, what are you waiting for? Head over to her blog and follow….like, now!

Can someone knit one of these for me?

Imagi-knit is a little knitting business established by Stephanie a former student of drama and performing arts at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), founded my Paul McCartney of The Beatles. Imagi-knit’s main focus is on creating custom-made baby hats, clothes and blankets but makes the occasional adult sized hats and scarves too.

Steph also hosts the occasional knitting party with which she aims to teach people to knit and encourages them to share their ideas too. Imagi-knit is based in Liverpool, United Kingdom - so if you’re in the area, get in touch via the Facebook page. If you’re not in Liverpool, you can always get your hands on a beautiful hat, scarf, knitted paraphernalia at Imagi-knit’s Etsy Shop :)

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

FINALLY made Ravell’s hat, took about three days.
Probably could have done it in two.
Definitely should have done it a year ago……

Today I will take the day off from all school related activities and work on this scarf.  My sister in law asked me to knit one and I’m like five inches from finishing.  Knitting is the most relaxing activity… There is something magical about the movement of your fingers and slow breathing. *sigh* After I’m finished with this scarf I will be ready to knit my very first hat.  I just need to get the special size needles and just knit away!
I want to go watch the movie Chronicle, Roger Ebert gave it 3.5 stars.  Señor Ebert and I usually agree on our ratings so perhaps we will go do that tonight.  I am almost done reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest but I’m putting it off out of my selfish attachment to Lisbeth Salander.  I don’t want her out of my life.  Just not yet.
Today shall be a productive day full of activities to keep the anxieties away.

I think this might be the most beautiful tattoo I have ever seen. Another picture if you click through!

Ok, so not technically a craft, but a beautiful homage to knitting.
