Welcome. I love to make stuff: Papercraft, crochet, plushies, cooking and baking.

I'll be posting my own stuff where I can and promoting other fabulous artisan crafts by fantastically talented craftspeople in between :)

Crafts I Heart is a craft blog run by Becky. This blog features all sorts of artistic endeavors including quilting, paper crafts, jewelry, DIY, sewing and amigurumi - to name a few.

On the sidebar of the blog, there are links to detailed Tags which categorises posts by color, season (Autumn/Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer), public holidays such as Christmas and Easter, and the ever-popular Valentine’s day in February.
Becky has told me that one of her favourite elements in the blog is the Craft Room series. “I highlighted studios and craft rooms alike. I love to see all the crafty goodness, along with the storage and organization solutions.” Sounds awesome, right? Well, what are you waiting for? Head over to her blog and follow….like, now!

The reason I began following PicaCraft is because I came across her awesome hand-stitched “mobs” from the video game Minecraft (pictured below). I’ve done my fair share of time in Minecraft (definitely a game worth checking out if you’ve never played it). It’s a bit like virtual Lego. Anyway…

The little lady behind PicaCraft loves to sew, cross-stitch, crochet and create other handmade gems.  Do check her blog out and follow :D

The ladies behind Go-Crochet are friends Inas and Tantri. These ladies are from Indonesia and admit to having been obsessed with crochet since junior high school.

Through this blog, they aim to share their own works, as well as that of others, including guides and tutorials, patterns and so on. They do not have an online Etsy shop, but do hold another affiliated blog over at Blogspot.

So definitely go over and check out their very cute blog & follow :)

Just crocheted Dr. McCoy the other week for a scholarship. I really wanted to put a caption like “Dammit Jim! I’m a doctor, not a Raggedy Andy!” But I didn’t know if the scholarship readers were Star Trek fans :(

Easter crochet!!! I had to really, also that bright yellow cotton was just screaming at me “I want to be something cute!”
…so here is a slightly derpy easter chick!
I like the way baby chicks all frantically follow their mum, like a little trail of yellow fuzz going “cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep!”

sierpinski kerchief (by devaburger)
I crocheted a Sierpinski triangle kerchief in gold.  I stopped at 4 iterations of the fractal because total area quadruples with each iteration, and I wasn’t sure I’d have enough yarn, time, or inclination to finish.
The pattern is really clever and uses the self-generating properties of the Sierpinski triangle, so after a few rows, you don’t need to look at the pattern anymore.  It’s created using open chain mesh and fans, much like a triangular filet crochet.

It’s so hard for me to believe that I have over 50 followers now!  Thank you all for your support and kind wishes!

I hope that this woolly little bear will bring a smile to your faces.  It was an experimentation with different types of yarn, resulting in an interesting-looking teddy!  She has a white bow on one ear and a matching scarf.  The scarf is knitted, and everything else is crocheted.

Double Crochets is a craft blog run by two Greek sisters from Athens, Panagiota (a teacher) and Marietta (a photographer), a place they love to post zillions of things related to craft. They love to crochet in strange places around Athens and belong to a club of like-minded crochet enthusiasts. Their goal is to spread the word, or, as they prefer to say, “SPREAD THE THREAD…”

So, grab a thread and see where it takes ya..

Crocheted cacti! Great for those, such as myself, who can’t successfully keep a plant alive.

I spent a lot of my time making this when I should have been studying or something (mostly while I was watching Doctor Who), and it was completely worth it because I LOVE how he turned out. Now I just need a Tardis! And the entire cast of Sherlock. Next I’m going to make an Ood, so my Doctor will have someone to save.
This is the pattern I used:
